Web Portals

Portals are super sites that have gone beyond just letting you search for something. They include directories on their home pages to reduce the time it takes to find what you want, as well as, powerful search engines to search either their website or the web.  We list major portals that include travel or languages as a directory and some other portals that are so popular we felt we needed to include them for completeness. Wikipedia has a nice article about web portals.

If a portal has a directory or category for travel or language, we link you directly to it.

The Other Travel Portals

Besides major travel agency and travel guide websites, there are some other sites with very comprehensive travel information on a variety of topics.  We list them here.
